「 bouncing away 11:03 AM 」

Did you know that the world changes it's magnetised ends around every 200000 years? Well, I didn't. When it happens, the south pole will become the north pole and vice versa. It's quite cool actually. Unfortunately, the change in the magnetic field causes 'gaps', allowing in more radioactive waves than usual, which could cause a cancer epidemic...which would NOT be cool at all.

Thinking on this, I realised something. It's really amazing that we humans have managed to survive for so long. Everyday, there are a million things that could go wrong, so many tragedies waiting to happen. Humans are so very fragile...a virus, an accident, a slip, a wrong decision...there are just so many death-traps in this world.

Thus, I think it's a major achievement that I have lived 17 years. And congrats are in order for those who have lived so much more. We really should be thankful we are still alive.
